Why Bloody Fingers Tour?

Chuck Leavell helped the Madison-Morgan Conservancy celebrate its 25th anniversary last year with an evening that became the stuff of MMC legend. After an unfortunate encounter with a steak knife earlier that day, Chuck took the stage with a bloody finger and played the entire evening. It was equal parts unforgettable music, great storytelling, and proof that nothing, including a little blood, was going to keep Chuck Leavell from the piano.

Now, he’s back, and this time, he’s bringing friends.

Chuck Leavell will be joined by Randall Bramblett, Nick Johnson, Michael Steele, and Gerry Hansen for an intimate evening of exceptional music, stories, and conversation, all in support of land conservation.

In the intimate setting of a historic 400-seat auditorium renowned for its exceptional acoustics, you’ll be close to the music and the musicians with not a bad seat in the house. Enjoy an evening that brings together legendary talent, remarkable stories, and a shared belief that Georgia is worth protecting for generations to come.

3 day event Nov. 13-15 at 8 stages on beautiful Lake Lanier Islands. The festival will bring acclaimed Southern songwriters to the resort for a can’t-miss musical weekend. The headline event is a lakeside concert Saturday night at 6pm when the Randall Bramblett Band performs, later that set to be joined by Chuck Leavell and Jimmy Hall!

Randall will also do an acoustic set on Sunday 11am.

Designed to celebrate the legacy of songwriters and invest in Georgia’s next generation of music creators, the festival will allocate a portion of its proceeds to the Georgia Mountain Food Bank, the Georgia Music Foundation, the Jarrard Burch Songwriter Foundation, and other worthy charities.
